It started today. Link below. Not the best link to follow but only one I could find.

Annabelle shot 72 and is level par today. Bogeys on the first and last hole. Ouch.

Savannah shot a heartbreaking 74. Thru 11 she was -3 and leading, then 2 bogeys and a triple bogey derailed the round.

FORMAT:
“The championship is contested in two phases. It begins with a 36-hole stroke play competition, played over two days. The leading 64 competitors progress to the knock-out match play competition, ties for 64th place being decided by countback. From 1966 up to 2020, all matches in the knock-out phase were played over 18 holes, but from 2021 the final has been played over 36 holes.”

What’s at Stake:
“The winner gains entry to the AIG Women’s Open, US Women’s Open, The Amundi Evian Championship and by tradition, an invite to compete at Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship.”

Tomorrow’s Tee Times:
Savannah Grewal: 11:52am, Hole #1
Annabelle Pancake: 1:09pm, Hole #1
(They are 5 hours AHEAD of us on the East Coast.)

Would LOVE for both of Our Gals to finish in the Top 32 heading into the Match Play portion of the Tournament!!!

It's looking better than I thought a couple hours ago. Especially for Savannah. Little gal is probably fuming over that triple. Neither did much on the par 5's either.

Thanks as always skeeta56 for the detailed explanation. No doubt it's a premier event for the ladies. Very prestigious event that I can't understand why our administration doesn't promote.

Annabelle finished round 1 @t14 and Savannah @t34 .

Today Savannah shot a nice +1 for a 36 hole +3 total. Annabelle shot a sloppy +3 for a 36 hole +3 total. They'll enter the match play t31 ish. Still a couple players in front and a couple at +4 that have to finish up...

I guess we'll have to see how they seed the 64. I'm just praying they don't end up having to play each other. Good job ladies. Impressive to be in the top 32.
