LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR
@ The Australian Women’s Classic . . .
Round 1 Play was Suspended due to heavy rains . . . Play will resume Saturday Morning . . . They are 15 hours ahead of us on tge East Coast . . . The LET Leaderboard site is having issues, but here is the Link that should work whenever the issue is fixed:

Doc will play in the afternoon session . . .
Billy and Kyle have faltered and will miss the Cut . . .
Sam (-5 today) and Bryson (-2 so far today) have both given themselves a chance to make the Cut as both are sitting on the present Projected Cut Line of Even Par!!!

Great news on a Friday to See you’re still breathing & loving that golf too thru your lovely posts.
Did I ever mention my Mother Ruth (“RuRu”) played golf for over 30 years but sadly laid down her bag in her 83rd year due to advanced Dementia b/c she didn’t know why she was out there or remember her technique.
RuRu was a founding member of the River Hills Plantation Country Club of SC and played courses from Pinehurst NC to Fla and made many friends.
She was a host official at various tournaments and a supporting member of the Women’s LPGA.
Loved Tiger Woods game but was skeptical of my favorite Arnie Palmer since she felt he was a womanizer.
I sadly threw her custom golf bag away recently due to its condition & being mildew-ridden but kept her various club & tournament medallions, balls, driver covers & tees~>one of which is in her box of ashes and orange since she loved Clemson FB.

Akshay didn’t falter . . . -2 today . . . -11 for the Tournament Lead currently.
Ben (-1 today) and Lucas (Even Par today) are looking good for Weekend Play . . . currently -2 for the Tournament and both T-18th Place.
Jacob needs to Hurry Up and find feathers . . . w/ 5 Holes remaining . . . He currently sits @ +1 for the Tournament . . . while the Cut is tentatively Projected @ Even Par . . . I look for it to move to -1!!!
Carson is done.

Congratulations to Akshay. This is now his tournament to lose imo. That clean card was a hard thing to do as the other scores indicate. Good things can happen on that course if you keep it in the short grass. I do believe he will hoist his 2nd trophy before some of our guys (other than Lucas) hoist their first.
Jacob struggled mightily to keep it in the short grass.
Way to go Bryson. Good to see him play a weekend. Great round by Sam. Doubtful it'll hold but you never know.
