That is on my top 10 list of favorite Christian songs which is really saying something. I could form a top 100 list and still have songs I love left off.

Being in choir, I am exposed to a lot of Christian music - some good, some tiresome, some bad, some exceptional.

I have told people that I spent more time planning my memorial service than I have on my will.

I have told my wife and my pastor that I want my service to focus on how amazing God is. The focus should be on His love and grace, not on me. I have picked out 4 songs that I want played at my funeral. (I have given them a flash drive with the songs on it.)

All too often Christians sing about how wonderful heaven is and how much we are looking forward to going there. But, those songs are seldom sung at a service.

I got to plan my mom's service. Folks were surprised when our worship leader sang Ivan Parker's "I'm gonna get carried away when I get carried away." A song clearly about dying and going to heaven, but a song never sung when somebody dies and goes to heaven.

You familiar with that song?
