a correlation between being fat and getting COVID boosters. Cause at this point it isn’t about protecting yourself, it’s just about making you feel “better” about yourself.

Blows my mind that people cannot understand that just being healthy is better than any booster or shot.

Definitely, but what about the unhealthy? A lot of America just eats junk due to costs and the needed convenience. I think those are huge factors. If everyone were working out eating healthy the country would be way different as far as hospital visits and insurance rates. Not happening though. Not practical daily for too many.

How is exercising not practical?

That is what I don’t understand. Get your lazy ### out of bed and hit the gym or the road. Bam, just found you some time.

Not having the time or the idea that it’s not practical are excuses.

Excercising often takes time and depends where they live etc . Gyms? Memberships. You seem like you are within the top 10% of America, which is great, but too many families have their hands full just getting by. It's a battle for them just to keep their heads above water and commute a few hours per day with commute to work. That's not to mention the rest of the day. They don't wing it like most of us can do on here when it comes to food costs and hobbies.

You do not need a gym. Running, pushups, sit ups, etc will do just fine. Does not cost anything except a good pair of running shoes.

Everybody has the same exact amount of time in a day. Replace "I didn't HAVE time" with " I didn't MAKE time"

Nice job!! I do the same. Well, I dont do as many hours as you but I have a very physical business. For years I would get in shape and then back off when the business season got hard again. This time I decided my fitness comes first. Ive been back to running, etc for 9 months and not letting busy days stop me. There are plenty of days I dont want to run but I just dont allow myself to say no. It just becomes a habit after some time.

Look who is still wearing masks, it's a mix of obese and smug asssholes. There was a woman in Clemson who sat in parking lots taking pictures of people who walked out of a store without a mask, and would then post them on social media in an attempt to shame them. Those people are never going to let it go.

But obesity not the ONLY factor that impacts Covid outcomes. Folks have other preexisting conditions that should be respected in regard to their vaccine decisions. The person and their doctor need to make individual evaluation.

Other people including politicians should have no impugn personal medical decisions.

Age is the #1 factor for severe illness.

Schizophrenia is #2.

Next comes hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory diseases, which....are more common in obese people. Being fat alone is not a comorbidity. The issues fat people develop are the excessive risk factor. But I know a lot of people with heart disease and diabetes who are not fat.
