Says cost the ACC and the smaller conferences big bucks with the College Football Playoff model.

That may or may not be correct. I believe Sanky and BIG commissioner would have walked and formed their own CFP and the TV networks would have followed. Phillips may have been smart enough to know this. Can't believe I'm defending Phillips and the ACC.

No, this was an agreement a couple of years ago. He balked and it cost 14 million per team and was pretty much even per conference. This made the P2 mad and Sankey said he was going to reconsider the agreement since that one was shot down. Watch his video that was on a few minutes ago.
