or just a common sinus cold after visiting with all those mad unvaxxed MAGA types in SW Florida.
Well, screw getting tested, I've not been around anyone since returning so what's the point?
Cold/whatever is about gone, I'll just pass the time this weekend with booze while finishing my 5 day quarantine. Yall ok with that?

I used a rapid test at home today and was positive.

Had what I thought was just allergies since Tuesday but generally felt ok. Woke up this morning with a low fever so I checked and boom. Positive.

My sisters are both feeling crummy too, so we think we picked it up at the hospital around the time dad was in there.

I'm sure I had it too. Got tested at one of the free DHEC testing sites just after 9AM on January 2nd. Here it is 5+ days later and still no result. You get what you pay for. It would be nice to know going forward the next several days if I was positive or not, but I guess I will be a good boy and mask up if around others another 5 days based on my close and lengthy exposure to 2 for sure COVID positive family members.

The DMV functions better than DHEC.

Your plan sounds reasonable. Screw the test.

Sucks being in a house of five people. It hops weekly from one to the other. Taking forever.

Side note, just got off a call with an attorney, an interpreter, and three different people in Honduras. Every single person on the conference call was hacking, sneezing, sniffling. It spanned from Lexington to Charleston to Greenville to BFE Honduras.
