South Carolina Ks and the Monty Lee style of coaching....

Currently SC has 406 Ks this year compared to Clemson's 344. This is practically flip flopped numbers from a couple years ago. According to Brad Crawford twitter post:

For us here at Clemson this is way too familiar and shows that certain coaching philosophies just don't work no matter where they go. I obviously don't like the Gamecocks but they probably did far more to hurt their own program than we ever could by hiring our old coaches.

Well in honesty we hired their coach first since he was an assistant with them first. But I am glad the Tigers have moved on to better coaches

We still have a few holdovers that can't seem to grasp the AB approach. However, we are having to play a thin weak hitting lineup. Evidence at uga. 21ks albeit it was 15 innings.

The way most talk about Monty, I'm about to start thinking I was the only one that wanted Monty when he was hired as our baseball HC. That only lasted for several years before I learned that he wasn't the answer either when he was hired, hey but I thought that he was, and it didn't take me 10 years to say that he had to go. Now I did hang in there with Brownell for 10 years before I admitted he needed to go!!!

You must haven't been a Tiger fan that long, Monty Lee was a coot coach long before he ever come to Clemson, and before he was the coach at college of Charleston!!!

I didn't start following Clemson sports till 2004 that is when I started my Masters Degree. I have never followed South Carolina sports and am not familiar with them even now. I don't live in South Carolina so my exposure to them is limited.
