back in 2020 6 out of 6 people that were in my office one day got Covid. We suspected it was the guy who had symptoms first.

This week he says, my GF has covid so I'm going to get tested. He had no symptoms.

Three days later he and two others have covid. We all have our own offices and don't spend a lot of time together. We'll see if anyone else gets it.

some next-level crud. Much more like the original covid. Worst of the four times we've had it by far. First time it hit all 5 of us in the house, and first time we all had fever and lost taste and smell. Also lasts a good 7-8 days.

Just learned today the second fastest spreading variant on Earth, currently, has just been named and came out of Charlotte, NC. Charlotte also set a pandemic record for hospitalizations in early January. Most people don't know that. They got nailed with this new variant. It's declining in Charlotte now, but is likely going to increase in other areas. Been watching this one a while now. It either infected MANY people in Charlotte and sheer numbers sent hospitalizations up, or it is more severe. Only time will tell on that front. The Charlotte metro area has had the highest hospitalizations per 100K in the US for a month now.

Another good source. The link below shows all the major variants worldwide, and their relative growth advantage. Sort that column and the new NC variant is #2 right now.

Seriously? You get a bad cold or the flu and you take medicine and get better.

No one cares to know unless you have weird turds.

I bet his customers will know when 50% of 6 people are

missing work. If not he needs to look for a new job. Or 50% of McDonalds burger flippers. You'll notice that sitting in the drive-thru. Heck, I notice dropping my son off in the carpool line. When there is no line, you know.

Anyway, that's why people care. And this creates inflation also. I imagine you've noticed that.

But yeah, who cares.
