My wife and I got to attend The All in Ball last weekend and I got to meet him. Really nice guy. I asked if was speaking and he laughed at me. He's involved in some philanthropic stuff in Charlotte where he lives, he was invited by a buddy a couple of years ago to the Ball. He came back ! He said this is a great cause and loves what CDS has done here. We talked about how the SECespn is so biased to the big ten and It Just Means More conference. Really down to earth dude IMHO

To me, he always came off as a genuine man. He's one of the few analysts I actually pay attention to. Analysis without any spin/BS narratives.

I didn’t know he lives in Charlotte. I knew Finebaum does. We saw him at a Mexican restaurant in Ballantyne with his wife.

when he ranked DJ #51 in ESPN's list of high school seniors instead of in the top 2-3 with Bryce Young like 247 and Rivals did.

He said DJ would have serious accuracy problems at the CFB level and he was right.
