Also never tested positive for anything in my nose. So there's that.
4 others in my house have had it. 2 twice. But yeah I've never had it ?
Also have some oceanfront property in Arizona for sale, if interested.

False negative x 1 for sure based on positive tests for close family.Maybe it's the chips? I have more than Lay's.

I have literally, in 46 years, NEVER tested positive on ANY test, for ANYTHING, where a swab is shoved up my nose. Throat, sure. Nose, NEVER. Never for flu. Never for covid. People say the tests suck, and they do, but I think there's a genetic factor at play somehow as well.
For example, first week of October 2009, the exact week when Swine Flu peaked in SC, I was nailed with a 105 fever and double pneumonia. Sickest I've ever been in my life. Went to the doc. he and I both suspected it was Swine Flu. He tested me and it was negative, so he assumed it wasn't flu. Wife and son also got sick, but not as bad. I missed my aunt's funeral with that illness. FFWD to 2017(? I think). Bad flu season. Swine Flu was like the 98% dominant strain. Peak week in SC whole house got the flu. Everyone had the flu vaccine except me. I was the only one of the 5 of us who did not get it. Humm....
My mother also has never tested positive. Last Christmas, 2 days before, me and oldest son got bad sniffles, little cough. We BOTH tested negative and assumed a cold. My mother who has CHF, COPD, diabetes, smokes, etc. came over. The week after Christmas my mom got sniffles, wife too, then middle son. Wife and all three sons eventually tested positive for covid. I had the same sniffles, never tested positive. Took multiple PCR and RAT tests, like 4 over 7 days. My mom also tested multiple times, always negative.
Point is I think there's a genetic factor that plays a role in the failure of nasal swab tests.

I didn't even bother getting tested for Influenza A recently. I had every symptom my daughter and 4 of my son in law's family had. We were gathered at Thanksgiving. They all tested positive, so I knew I had what they had. I too have tested negative for flu in the past when immediate family was sick and tested positive.

That's interesting.
I had it in August. (Tested positive, yet fully vaxxed and boosted.)
A couple of weeks ago, I sneezed all week and thought it was some allergy (leaf mold?) then developed cold symptoms. Self-tested negative.
My wife developed same symptoms, self-tested positive.
I've tested negative twice since (and feel fine, now). I can't believe we are stuck in the house together and I didn't get it from her or vice versa.
