13-1-3 record. A lone loss so far and have beaten ranked teams.
I’ve watched almost each game and attended many in person this year. Fun team to watch with several likable players. Def the most invested I’ve been in a women’s soccer season here.
When I worked the games when I was a student at Clemson we had a terrible women’s soccer program. Had something like a 30 match ACC losing streak. Radwanski has done an amazing job, up there with Noonan, Rittman and Dabo as the best coaches at Clemson right now.
I encourage anyone who is a Clemson fan but not necessarily usually a soccer fan, this is the year to pay attention down the stretch!

Is this the best team we have had? 13-1-3 is an awesome record.***

Not sure on ranking or record. We’ve been top 10 Most of this year.
I’ll take a look through the record books soon

When I was at Clemson we didn't have a women's soccer team!

I was talking to a TV announcer at a softball game (she is a former college softball player) last year and commented that back in the 90s when Title IX or whatever it is (faulty older guy memory) came into effect, we were all upset about losing so many men's sports. But now that we're all older and many of us have daughters, it's great to be able to bring our girls to a Clemson sporting event where they can see other young ladies playing, get a chance to meet them, and have positive role models of their own. It stinks that axing men's programs is what it took, but I think it's pretty clear it's definitely been a net positive for women, for women's sports, and for sports in general.
Go Tigers!

I agree. College sport being widely available for women and young girls to look up to across the country has definitely been a very positive thing overall.

I love this team and have enjoyed watching them this year. I hope they can go a long was in the ACC Tournament, which means they will also have a chance to go a long way the NCAA tourney!

Looking at the records

We made the elite 8 in 1997, 99, 00, 06 and 20. A few years finishing in top 10.
Looks like our best ever season was 2000. 5-1-1 in ACC, 19-3-1 overall and ranked 5th made the elite 8.
So that’s the bar that this team can possibly cross. The 2000 team.

I love these teams that are just a little bit under the radar ....... at least at the start of the season. I don't think our last men's NCAA championship team was particularly well thought of most of the year ...... very good, but maybe not great. I could be wrong. But they just kept winning along the way. It certainly takes some luck, as well as being good. Let's hope we have both.

Team in men’s. They were unplayable in the regular season. Beautiful team play all. But they went out in the elite 8 to Stanford in penalties.
Then in 2020 we were #1 but lost to Marshall in the second round.
2021 had to go on the road to win at #1 Oregon State. So it’s about getting hot at tournament time really

You missed a couple of coaches names as the best. Hester, women's golf coty. Also, only 2nd team ever but Kwolek, imo will be one of our best ever considering this is only year 2. Just missed national in yr 1 because of the schedule we played. That said, yr2 ought to be a great team.
Hope I'm wrong but I don't think we'll beat fsu if we get to the championship game. I also think we won't get past the elite 8. Our offense isn't enough. If Halle gets us there we might.
