there's an old joke about a captain that yelled for his 1st

mate to bring him his red shirt just before a battle ensued with an enemy ship that had been spotted on the horizon.

after the battle the mate asked why the red shirt, to which the captain replied that if he had been struck in battle he didn't want his crew seeing the blood of their wounded captain and losing heart in the fight.

later on a crewman in the crow's nest shouted, 20 enemy ships on the horizon to which the captain commanded, bring me my brown pants!

some of you picking on dd, petrino and others who try to downplay DV might cut them some slack. they're probably not going to shyatt their breeches for the world and their team to see.
