Of the moon landing and the Gamecocks only football championship. Two miracle accomplishments.

it’s easier to travel 240,000 miles to the moon than for the gamecocks to win a championship?

by having no other team in the conference having a record above 0.500. They were the only ones because everyone else sucked balls. Talk about an extremely rare cosmic alignment. But that is their only chance.

There’s no proof the gamecocks ever won anything.

with a 7-4 record, when no other team has a winning record and include a 5 win, a 4 win, and 5 three win teams. Dominance.

Yeah, the pundits who want to claim the ACC is bad at football now should have been around then. We've come a long way, baby!

Nah, America put a man on the moon but I'm not sure about USUcK and a football championship. I mean, we've had NASA all along but USuCk hasn't come close to football in 50 years.

That would work very well. Small change I would make would be to insert the word only in caps between their and football.

And - think about THESE too...

2019 - - the 50th anniversary of the 1st moon landing & Scar's ACC Championship....no doubt! But also the 50th for Woodstock, Chappaquiddick (which was within a day or so of the moon landing) & the 1st six months of the Nixon Presidency. "Yeah, we won a championship once - back when Nixon first took office..."
2019 happens to be the 80th anniversary of a bunch of iconic movies from 1939. "Gone With the Wind" - "The Wizard of Oz" - "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" & a bunch more.
"Yeah, we won a championship once - back when 'The Wizard of Oz' was only 30 years old!"

Not sure how good any of those four were in 1969, but the coots went O-4 against them! Then lost their bowl game to WVA.

I wasn't born til 1971 so it's a great feeling knowing since I've been alive they've never won a football championship of any kind.
