Clemson QB Tajh Boyd went 14-23 for 169 yards with 0 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown against SC State this past Saturday. Boyd's numbers were hurt because he played less than 2 quarters of football against an overmatched Bulldog team.
Boyd dropped one spot to third in our Heisman composite ranking. However, any Heisman campaign for Boyd will not be won or lost against a FCS team but will rest on how he does in the big matchups on national television.
