Beasley: "I've played with a torn labrum the whole season"

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley left Sunday's game against the Jaguars will a shoulder injury.

However, it was not a new injury as he told reporters it was a torn labrum injury he suffered while at Clemson.

“I’ve played with a torn labrum the whole season,” Beasley said via the AJC. “It was just one of those moments. I’ve played well with it throughout the season and I played with it in college.”

Beasley found out about the injury when he had an MRI before the beginning of this season.

He has played through the pain as he has played in every Falcons' game this season and has 22 tackles, three sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.
