DeAndre Hopkins takes 17 kids on shopping spree |
Former Clemson standout and Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre "Nuk" Hopkins is known for his accolades on the field with his impressive play in the NFL.
However, his off-the-field actions should also garner some attention as he helped seventeen underprivileged children go on a shopping spree recently at Champs Sports at Memorial City Mall in Houston, Texas. "Coming out and hanging out with these kids, it's a blessing, they humble you," Hopkins said. "A lot of these kids aren't able to come in here and just go shopping and get whatever they want so for me to be able to come back and give back, it really means something. Words can't really describe the feeling." The total bill was $6,927.71 which was paid for by Hopkins. Good job Nuk helping out and making a difference in your community.
