ESPN The Magazine predicts Clemson in CFB title game |
Clemson Football is getting their much deserved national media respect after barely losing 45-40 in the National Championship game against Alabama on Jan. 11.
ESPN The Magazine released its predictions for the 2016 season and their college football expert Brad Edwards had a college football playoff projection of #1 Oklahoma vs. #4 Washington and #2 LSU vs. #3 Clemson in the other playoff semifinals. He picked Oklahoma over Clemson in the National Championship game. Tiger fans and probably the Clemson players would relish this matchup having disposed of the Sooners so easily in multiple bowl games. Other projections include Houston vs. Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl, FSU vs. Alabama in the Orange Bowl, Michigan vs. USC in the Rose Bowl and Tennessee vs. TCU in the Sugar Bowl.
