Packers QB: "UNC will beat Clemson in ACC Title game" |
Former North Carolina quarterback Marquise Williams made an interesting and bold prediction for the 2016 football season.
He joined the David Glenn show this week and said that North Carolina's quarterback Mitch Trubisky is the real deal and will win the ACC. "He’s taking us to the ACC Championship, and we’ll be beating Clemson this year in the ACC Championship Game,” Williams said (10:40 mark in audio). Williams passed 7965 yards with 61 touchdowns and 25 interceptions as a Tarheel and one of four quarterbacks on the Green Bay Packers' current roster with starter Aaron Rodgers, Brett Hundley, and Joe Callahan. During this past season's ACC Championship game, Clemson held Marquise Williams to 11-of-33 passing (33.3 percent) which was the worst completion percentage in a start in Williams' collegiate career.
