Clemson senior offensive guard Eric Mac Lain introduced Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday afternoon to Clemson as Biden discussed his support of the national “It’s on us” campaign which is a White House initiative to end sexual assault on university campuses by mobilizing college students.
It’s On Us pledge has over 250,000 students that have already pledged: To intervene instead of being a bystander. To recognize that any time consent is not – or cannot – be given, it is sexual assault and it is a crime. To do everything you can to create an environment where sexual assault is unacceptable, and all survivors are supported. Biden signed the Clemson football helmet the following on Tuesday: "To Eric and the No. 1 team in the nation. Keep it going. Joe Biden 11-10-15." Great season, @ClemsonFB. Proud you're a partner in the fight to end on-campus sexual assault. #ItsOnUs. All of us. pic.twitter.com/Gjy4zYEoOI @mr_clemson could be President one day.
