Ray-Ray McCloud injury update |
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said after practice on Wednesday that Clemson wide receiver
Ray-Ray McCloud is getting better health-wise each day and will be able to contribute against North Carolina.
"He was ready to go last week," Swinney said. "He has gotten better and better each day. He is going to continue to get better. He's still got to play in that brace this week." Swinney said that during bowl practice McCloud will be able to use a lighter brace. McCloud suffered a sprained knee (MCL) in the game against Florida State and has missed the last three games. However, he is still the Tigers' fifth leading receiver with 23 receptions for 211 yards and a touchdown.
