Four-star athlete and two-sport Ole Miss commit
Jerrion Ealy picked up a Clemson offer while in town for the Tigers' spring game on Saturday.
Ealy (Flowood, Miss.) committed to the Rebels in December in both football and baseball but has taken visits to Alabama and Clemson since. Ealy is rated the No. 8 overall high school baseball prospect by Perfect Game. "Blessed and excited to announce that I have received an offer from Clemson University!!" Ealy posted Saturday evening. He rushed for over 1,700 yards and punched in 32 touchdowns and reeled in nearly 600 receiving yards with 8 more scores last season. He's averaged 9.2 yards per carry through three seasons in a 39-1 run at Jackson Prep. At the plate, he's hit .362 with 29 runs scored and 18 RBIs in 2018. He also holds offers from Southern Cal, Auburn, Florida State, Mississippi State, Oregon, Tennessee, Michigan and Louisville among more Power 5 offers.
