ESPN GameDay picks for Clemson-Auburn |
ESPN's College Gameday weighed in on the top-15 showdown between Clemson and Auburn in Death Valley tonight (7 p.m., ESPN).
Desmond Howard picked CLEMSON - I wanted to go with Auburn. I thought Kamryn Pettway was going to play. I said it on SportsCenter and we talked about it earlier, but now there's a question mark if the running back is going to play. So since there's a big question mark about Pettway, I'm going with Clemson. Celebrity guest picker Eddie George picked CLEMSON - (Pettway) is a big back between the tackles that can beat you up and wear you down. I think Clemson's defensive line is so, so great. I compare them with Ohio State's defensive line as well. I like Clemson to win a tight one. Lee Corso picked CLEMSON - I'm going with the Tigers, Clemson. Kirk Herbstreit picked CLEMSON - I'm with you (Lee). At home, Death Valley, we'll learn about both of these teams. Both of these teams think that they're going to win their league. Auburn thinks with Jarrett Stidham that they can beat Alabama. This will be tough. This is the day we really define who Clemson is with their quarterback Kelly Bryant and who Stidham is. I'm going with Clemson at home. Corso goes with the Buckeyes! pic.twitter.com/l8ZrnppIVw
