Clemson officially picked up their eigth verbal commitment for the 2007 recruiting class on Tuesday. Stanley Hunter, who had previously notified the coaching staff, made his decision public at a school press conference.
Hunter will join his high school teammate Willy Korn at Clemson. "It is a good opportunity for me at Clemson. Everything is right for me. Willy and I have talked about it for a long time. He was going to have me going anywhere else. Hopefully we can continue to win championships together at Clemson." Hunter is one of the top linebacker prospects in South Carolina, and the Tigers are expecting a visit later this week from perhaps the top linebacker Scotty Cooper.
