When I pointed out it had improved every week through week 3 it was scoffed at and many said see what happens against FSU. Against the best defense he’s faced this year, he should have a qbr in the 130s. The best of his career. Is it possible that a lead footed qb who never got over the beating he took at Georgia is as much to blame for the disappointment of the last two years as the coaching and portal? And that just possibly, we may be seeing a new qb who may be growing into the type of qb that can get it us back to the playoffs? Obviously extremely unlikely this year. But we haven’t seen qb play like this in awhile (the Wake game last year was against a poor defense) at Clemson. Maybe resist the urge to burn it all down?
In only his fifth start, his improvement is evident. Situational awareness and ability to audible and adjust are frontiers CK2 will overcome by the end of this season.
Frankly, Viz, if I look at the four years I was at Clemson

and add in nearly 11 afterwards until Danny Ford took the reins, I'm not ready to burn down anything.
I despise losing, but then again, that's at anything and everything. The reality is losses do come, and you evaluate to try to prevent further. There were errors today in coaching and execution, but for four quarters, we gave FSU a run for the money.
I don't bash players, but though Cade has plenty of room for improvement, he is a breath of fresh air and hope compared to what I witnessed the past two years. I wish nothing but great success for DJ; I wish greater success for Cade since he's our QB now.
