Not douboule set backs as in " set back - meaning bad" . Double set "RB/TB back" formations on offense is what I'm referring to.
Tiger faithful that don't yet know me, please don't take this from a long time tiger fan as " a slight towards coaching" or a slight towards anything else. We're 8-0, and that matters- alot. I and my family have seen through orange tinted glasses for almost 40 years. So, please know the persective I'm coming from.
Moving on, I just got around to reading the "orange and white" feature on Feaster " Patientley waiting ". From 5 star to Fith String was ttile" Front page. Feaster hasn't played ( much if any ) since that photograph of him running against SC State for a TD.
No Revelation here, just an idea that someone else has thought of at least once.
Idea- Double set back formations with Gallman and Feaster. A New Fomation to try out. Feaster on a wheel route option or pitch? See what He's got? I mean... 5 Star Kid sitting on the bench with no options? This kid can score if given the opportuity. Let him learn defense by playing agaisnt defense in some capcity. No to mention that The double Set Backs would be a formation that would scare teams ( in the right quarter of play ) in the running game. I think it's worth a shot. Do you Agree or Disagree?
I would say it would be worth a shot for a team that was struggling to find an identity. Even though the tigers have sputtered here and there, that's clearly not the case. This is not Stoudt v Watson. Feaster brings a lot to the table, but the types of mistakes that freshmen inevitably make keep him sidelined. I for one say they trust the process that has us 8-0, and at the top of the cfp discussion. I for one can't wait to see Tavien explode on the scene, but I'm also glad we have so much talent even he has a hard time getting on the field. Feaster will get his chance, and when he does it will be the right time. Just my 2 cents.
