That was Dabo's charge to his team yesterday, as he shared in his pre-game interview. Thankful we have a coach, staff, and roster that possess that mindset and wherewithal. With all the Tylers and know-it-alls in our fan midst, I for one am deeply appreciative of having someone like Dabo at the top who builds his foundation on an immovable rock, and not the quicksand of the moment that many on the outside looking in seem to crave.
Incredible game yesterday. Our much-maligned offense had to rise up and save the day for us, and man did they ever. We took a loud-mouthed, showboating bunch of punks in blue and showed them how to finish. We never lost our cool or composure, nor muddied ourselves by sinking to the low level our opponent displayed from even before the opening bell. We held steady, didn't panic, took their punches, and kept getting back up and going after them again and again til the end.
Great day to be a Tiger, and a lot to be excited about for 2024!
