As much as I busted on Chad Morris for what I thought

were silly-azz plays and questionable coaching (my criticism means absolutely nothing as I don't know the first thing about being an OC), I do wish the man well. He did a lot for Clemson football. Morris is one of several contributors who in the last 20 years, since Tommy West was let go, has made this program better. I can't point to one particular person solely responsible for the turn-around. Tommy Bowden was certainly tremendous and set us in the right direction, and there was Rich Rodriguez, Bowden's first OC. Obviously Dabo has contributed greatly. We've also had several players who on and off the field have drawn a national spotlight to Clemson, in a positive way, such as Daniel Rodriguez, CJ Spiller and Tajh Boyd. And don't forget Ray Ray McElrathbey. All have been and continue to be great ambassadors for Clemson. So, I say, good luck to Coach Morris, master of the screen pass and expert in bewildering play calling. May you have great luck at SMU, and may the hair on my head return after all the scratching you caused me.
