It says Allen is 6'3" and Boyd is 6'1".
Then you look at the picture..... Somebody's not telling the truth.

CUAD listed Kyle Parker at 6'1" but MLB measured him at 6'0"

Schools often exaggerate the height of their QBs. I'd guess that Boyd (listed at 6'1") is really more like 6'0". We'll find out for sure when the NFL measures him.

Love the Jamarcus Russel reference. I swear he used to eat McDoubles on the sidelines at Raiders games.

When I read about Boyd, now that he has become the sweetheart of our team,it makes me scratch my head and wonder why Dabo hung on to Kyle Parker so long. Has Tajh improved that much or was Dabo blinded by his relationship with Parker's family. As we view the situation today it makes you wonder if the arrival of Chad Morris improved our ability to evaluate our talent? Next years running back starter may give us a clue!I believe Morris is a "play hard or sit down" kind of guy who doesn't read his players press clips.

Boyd made huge improvements under Morris the first year. Then, he lost 25 lbs after the WVU game and became more mobile the second year under Chad (because Chad said he was going to have to run more - for his life).
Boyd wasn't physically or mentally ready before Morris helped him get there. Parker started because he was the better QB at the time.

I'm sure he grew up idolizing Vick and with the impact Tajh has made, he has probably had the chance to meet him or even get to know him by now. Vick also had to make the same decision in college.
I find it interesting that both guys he talked to left early but he decided to stay. Tajh has a good head on his shoulders. That is for sure.

Allen's 1st round projection resulted in a 3rd round pick.

Similarly, I think Boyd's 3rd round projection was optimistic and he'd have more likely been a late round pick. No sub-6'2 junior QB has been drafted in ANY round over the last 6 years, and only 4 sub-6'2" seniors have been drafted in the last 6 years-- none of whom were drafted higher than the 3rd round.
