I was just talking to a coot buddy on My Space

who works as a temp in the South Carolina AD's office. He said there were lot of conversations between Ray Tanner and Mark Kingston on which teams they felt Clemson would struggle with and the consensus was to match us up against Vandy. They may have even gone so far as to contact the Commodore coaches and make recommendations on who to pitch and overall coaching strategy.
This is why John Swofford will never be an effective commissioner for the ACC, he does not go the extra mile for his programs. If you want to point the finger some where, that is where the blame should lie and I plan to write the ACC league office a long letter as to why he needs to be replaced, I encourage all of you to do the same.
Until then, we will always be second at best to the SEC, and that is just not good enough in my book.

Balm, my understanding was that Ray Tanner was

the head of the NCAA Committee on selections.
If so, why would he be having any conversations with any coach, especially one at South Carolina, about Clemson's placement?
Therein, would lie the rub, and if true, then John Swofford should be all over that with formal complaints filed with the NCAA.
I don't blame anyone other than ourselves for our losses; but, I'll be darned if I accept collusion ouitside the selection committee against us.

TWICE?!?!?!

How about four (4) times in the last five (5) meetings by a combined score of 40 - 19.
Vandy scored as many runs last night as Clemson has scored in those five meetings combined.

They gave UNCheat a National Seed and an easy regional.
Tarholes won, so they’re not gonna hear a peep from the Swoff.

i would find this hard to believe as Ray would not have been in columbia when the commitee was making the selection. I would have to call BS. What is the name of your friend and I can find out if he really works there. I have a contact

they will never have Vandy in their regional as long as Tanner is head of the selections. We were not supposed to get Vandy twice in two years, but yet we did. That's reason enough for Tanner's release from head of the selection. Typical dirty coot crap.
