Let's say your family doctor diagnoses you with diabetes and

Refers you to a specialist (endocrinologist) who will help you manage this condition. Your Dr, who you trust completely, recommends the specialist in the most glowing and unreserved terms so you schedule an appointment. Upon researching the specialist you find that he never finished medical school, has been lying about it, and that he's been diagnosed himself with a serious mental disorder. Do you keep the appointment with that specialist or do you cancel it and rethink your unequivocal faith in your family Dr?
Trump speaks about Herschel Walker like he'll be the greatest thing that'll ever happen to American government and his followers fall over themselves to take his recommendation in spite of the mountain of contradicting facts. Sheep.

But seriously, I'd say domestic violence and unbelievably hypocritical abortion politics might call into question somebody's character, unless you're playing a strictly team sport, in which case Herschel could abort bald eagles and you wouldn't care because winning the seat is all that matters.

1. Abortion is a state issue. DONT CARE FOR A SENATE RACE. 2. Warnock tried to run over his ex wife, and the good reverend had abuse going on in his Church camps. 3. Walker seems that he acknowledged a lot of his failures and addressed them in his book. One thing that a DEM will ever do (ack failure).
So, even if it's a wash on their home lives, one will vote against the climate alarmist cult, higher taxes, open borders, more regulations, etc. and the other will not.

Republicans have already announced their intention to pass a federal abortion bill. I'm impressed you've heard of Herschel Walker though, a real deep cut.

The best thing about abortion bills; is that neither party should get one passed in congress. Passing bills by a simple majority would have the founders arming up.

He is unfit.
You may not like Warnock's politics much - I certainly don't - but as a human being he is not unfit. Warnock's quiet, thoughtful, introspective, and comes across as a man of principle. I don't like some of his principles and some of the assumptions he lives by but he does have them.
Our polarization has happened because way too many voters on either side have drank the Kool-Aid and gotten missile-locked on results instead of process, and the process happens correctly when people with ethics and morals get together to try to solve problems instead of torching the house because they're either sociopathic and enjoy breaking things or are just too stupid to see solutions.
The problems are being caused by unfit leaders, and the fools who keep sending the likes of Walker and Marjorie Greene and Lauren Boebert and partisan idiots like AOC or Maxine Waters or Rashida Tlaib on the other side.
Unfit leaders destroy institutions, and the peoples' faith in it.
You wonder what's wrong with Washington? The folks we're sending there. Plain and simple. We are not going to improve Washington by sending yet another lunatic to it.

There are people of questionable character running for both

parties in races across the country.
Most people's votes aren't swayed anymore by "He cheated on his wife" or "She cheated on her taxes". They vote for a party.
The GA election might literally be for control of the Senate. (Especially with talk of eliminating the PhillyBuster and yearly huge reconciliation-type legislation.)
So, Walker's character quickly takes a back seat to other, bigger issues.
I wish it weren't this way - but it is.

That makes two senators, Walker and Tuberville in AL, who probably couldn't hit triple digits on the IQ scale combined, who are sitting in 2 of 100 of the most important government positions in the country, JUST because of team politics. This isn't a freshman rep in the House. These are Senators.

This scenario needs no doctors at all. Eat better and exercise, and save the doctors office for real issues like unwanted babies in yo belly.

I desperately want the GOP to take back the Senate, but voting for Walker would be a tough vote to cast. He simply isn't fit for office.

As you said, that's their problem, though.
Walker and Oz highlight the problem with Trumpism in that charlatans are now given a voice and have a chance to make big decisions in our lives.
