or Notre Dame or Ohio State for doing this routinely. It is what it is. It happens in baseball, basketball, football.. you name it. When you go and legislate the NIL free-for-all then youre going to get the wild west chaos that follows it.

....(not a big loss, not nearly as big as it sounds) and has a coach suspended for 3 games next year because the coach drove a recruit to meet a guy for dinner. The coach didn't arrange the dinner. The coach didn't attend the dinner. But the dinner was with a booster.
Note: What the coach did was against NCAA rules at the time. (Last January.) NCAA has since changed the rules so it is no longer against NCAA rules. But, the suspension of the coach still stands.
Note 2: I am not defending FSU in this case. Just pointing out that the only consistent thing about NCAA enforcing rules is their inconsistency.

Funny, but close to reality. Ole Miss was punished, but probably because they beat Bama twice. That tends to happen.
