However, I'm not sure how the bone got bruised without contact. It was more of the way he jumped and came down. It looked more like a hyperextension of the knee than anything. It made me cringe.

My guess is that the bone bruise was when he came straight down in his leg and jammed the tibia and femur together. Since it wasn’t hyperextended, it meant all the force was direct bone on bone. Hopefully his meniscus wasn’t torn too.
Speedy recovery Mr. Wiggins!

My concern also. Thought it might be meniscus instead of ligament damage.
If indeed tibia and femur made significant contact with each other, then I can not see how the cartilage wasn’t also damaged.
Praying for the guy that his chances to play football in the future (near or distant future) remain intact.

The next time we see Wiggins, it will be on Sundays.

I was thinking the same thing. Dabo less than on target, shall we say, with the injury information.

You could be right. It is hard to fathom how Wiggins would be ready to play again any time soon.
He’s clearly our best CB and what I believe to be an elite pass defender. Much as I’d like to see him play some more for us, my biggest hope is that his health is restored enough to get some NFL paychecks.

No. That ain't happening. If he got kicked in the shin or knee, I'd agree with you. This was a bone bruise due to a jam from as high as he jumped. Happens in basketball usually. The position he plays, I'd be ecstatic if he's back for the ND game. I'm sure his docs recommend a longer recovery because he's risking further damage.
Hate it for him and the team. Will pray for a complete recovery soon. If it's his knee jamming, could be months. I wouldn't be surprised if his meniscus didn't sustain a tear.
Who knows with Antonio because not sure what his is. But we all know Dabo. Looks like young kids have to grow up quick. Not really a bad thing imo. I don't care if we're 8-4 or 9-3. It'd be nice to keep the 10 win intact but for experience next year, may be worth it.

Yea i hope we sit Wiggins, dont risk him getting more injured. Make sure hes 100% hes the most high energy player on D right now and he will be needed vs Scar and Miami especially.

There is a genocide happening right now in the Sudan. God might have bigger issues to deal with than a relatively minor injury on the football field.

Nate is a huge asset to our team. Ole "disrespected" Jordan Travis wouldn't have thrown that ball towards Nate in OT

He'll be back soon. An MRI is 90% diagnostic of a meniscus tear which he does not have. As previously stated also there is no ligament tear.
