If we play vs DJ... C'mon. Literally no one wants that. Its like fighting a weakling, there's no positive outcome

I dunno. DJ and the Beavs are playing good football. DJ is top 10 in Qbr (closer to top 5) and they have lost close to elite programs. As we can see right now, DJ wasn’t the whole problem. He was part of it, just not all of it.

Plenty of others along with me have taken the approach of "can we just stop talking about DJ? hakuna matata" and so forth
but I can't help but wonder how he might have played with a coordinator, o-line and coaching staff that was halfway competent.
I guess I don't have to wonder. I'm seeing it play out.
By December, we will be solid. Tigers by 10 if we play them. I could care less about their weak West Coast record.

It's a bitter pill to swallow for some here

who relished in the notion that DJ was the problem and our coaches were victims of his ineptitude.
Some of these people seemed to want him to fail at Oregon State just to prove their point.
What happened to "Once a Tiger, always a Tiger?"

Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl would be a kool landing spot for our Clemson Tigers, don't you think?

Been to El Paso many times.... One of the highlights used to be a day trip into Juarez, but it's too dangerous now.... But day trips to Las Cruces, White Sands, and Alamogordo are doable.... Cattleman's Steak House in Fabens (about 30 minutes east) is still a good place to eat.... Rock climbing is great if that's your thing.... Guadalupe mountains and Carlsbad Caverns about a 2 hour drive.... There could be worse destinations than the Sun Bowl....

I also can’t stop raving about certain Texas destinations. San Antonio is a favorite with El Paso not far behind. San Antonio has everything a person could want in one giant circle. With exotic locals every direction. Just don’t underestimate the size of a Jack rabbit or Texas Longhorn. Jesus. Those things are aliens.

I just wish the bowl games meant something more than a little TV money.
