This is so disappointing. I thought Deshaun was smarter than to do something this stupid in this age of lawsuits everyday. This is not pc but for gosh sake, just hire a hooker.

Brilliant Sherlock! Just brilliant advice! Because no hooker would try a stunt like blackmail?! You obviously don’t watch TV or read much. Unfortunately, as a high profile wealthy person, he should have probably avoided massages outside of trainers (still no guarantees), but I’m glad you don’t manage my client or hopefully anyone else for that matter. For those of us who love and appreciate the man we think he is, I hope this is not only false but more over he proves innocence.

List, at least until the matter is settled...Outside of that, that's about the extent of it

It's a shame ...

Guilty or innocent, right or wrong, win or lose, creep or easy mark, Deshaun Watson and his reputation will never be the same. In the court of public conjecture, it's highly doubtful the truth will ever be known. Watson's NFL career is just beginning. He will win many more games and make many more millions of dollars. He may even win a Super Bowl. It may be he has been unfairly maligned. But DW4 will never be looked at the same way by an adoring fan base.
DW4, along with CW42 and a handful of Clemson defenders, has been my all-time favorite player to ever suit up for Clemson and certainly the player who has done the most for the program. Now his decision to visit a string of unaffiliated masseuses instead of readily accessible & credible sports masseuses will impact his brand for the rest of his career.
Yes, DW4 is single. Yes, he can easily locate a hot short-term date or longer-term girlfriend or girlfriends. Yes, he can afford any above board professional sports massage establishment. And yes, he can pay beautiful professional working girls ala Charlie Sheen, Michael Jordan or Big Shaq to meet his needs. Or he can meet his dates at Huddle House ala Mr. Woods. But while this case has some similarity to Robert Kraft's masseuse visit, it also varies in ways that are unfavorable to DW4 in the court of public opinion.
Kraft is a widower in his 80's. You go Bob! Kraft was caught one time (maybe two times) at the same joint. Kraft was accused by Johnny Law and not by the masseuse who was likely tipped very well. Kraft was not accused of violence. (The masseuse could have probably hurt tiny Bob.)
I'll watch the news play out and hope it plays out in a way that is honest and favorable to DW4. But I expect it will play out in a way that no one will ever know the truth, and DW4 will never again be the knight in shining armor. There will always be a shadow ... a question mark.
If I'm Watson's attorney and 100% confident of his innocence, I am offering to pay for a lie detector test for these accusers at any reputable facility. Being young and horny is not a crime, but being young, rich and sexually forceable is a crime. And whether or not his accusers are being truthful or gold digging or both, DW4 demonstrated remarkably poor judgement in the best light. DW4 is no doubt kicking himself. It's a shame ...

memory of the modern fanbase.
Look at what we KNOW Kobe Bryant did, and yet 9/10 sports fans are ready to nominate him for Sainthood.
DW will be fine.

I hope the facts make my comments over the top. You’re right - fans have short term memory. Still this is the 1st time Watson has received big publicity on mainstream news, and for the multi-millions who don’t follow Clemson, the ACC or the NFL, it’s not good. As for Kobe, let’s hope it doesn’t take a tragic death to change perspective on DW4.

The whole situation, timing, etc.

I know, I know, orange colored shades and all but... The lawyer filing these civil suits, Tony Buzbee, is a neighbor and friend of Texans owners Robert and Janice McNair. Tony has had a series of shady events in Houston and is a real life Saul Goodman.
The timing is BS too. If these allegations are true, then why weren't criminal charges brought forth first? If these women were so shaken so much to defecate on themselves, then why wait until now? And why only pursue money in civil cases and only produce text messages that could be easily reproduced with photoshop?
If you ask me, and my opinion and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee, but the timing of Watson's trade request and these allegations are fishy as hell. I think the owners are miffed that the QB they spent so much money on and hobbled, wants to play elsewhere. So as part of retribution, they decided, "Well if you won't play for us, you won't play anywhere."
If these allegations are proven false, then all these women should be thrown in jail along with the lawyer. False allegations like these only hurt everyone. But if true, DW4 should be condemned and punished and booted from the league.
I personally don't know Deshaun. I don't think he is living some sort of double Bill Cosby type life. Nothing about this kid screams shady other than banging a pornstar. But any red blooded American male that says they wouldn't do that...?? why TF you lying?! ??

Well, here we are again. The facts are not important in today's world. Is he guilty? So many are guilty of things like this and so many have gone unreported and/or unreported and this needs to stop BUT if he's not then it is a travesty that anyone can ruin someone's reputation just by making an accusation. Sadly this is where we have come to so that you are now innocent, not until proven guilty but until someone says you aren't - no matter what the evidence says. Let's let this one play out before jumping to conclusions.
