Lou Holtz predicts Clemson-FSU matchup

by - Assoc. Editor -

Do you miss the beloved analyst duo of Lou Holtz and Mark May formerly of ESPN?

Don't fret as they are now back as part of the Crowd's Line College Football Show with Lou Holtz & Mark May. The witty pair gave their predictions on the upcoming ACC showdown between Clemson and Florida State.

"I got Clemson winning this game in the end, pulling away big-time in the fourth quarter 46-21," May said.

Holtz also picked Clemson as his winner.

"I think Florida State has good talent," he said. "If their offensive line shows up and compete with Clemson's defensive line, they have a chance but I don't think it's gonna happen. Even though it's at Florida State, and let's remember this, Florida State is really fighting for a bowl game. They have three losses, they lose to Clemson, they gonna lose to Florida, that's five, they gonna lose to Notre Dame, six. No doubt about that. I look for Clemson to prevail 38-17."
