Former Clemson receiver DeAndre Hopkins is expected to sign a contract that will be unrivaled among NFL receivers.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday night that the Houston Texans are working on a five-year contract with the most money guaranteed to any current pro receiver: $49 million of an $81 million contract.

The Daniel (SC) product was drafted 27th overall in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft. He's posted 4,487 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns over four seasons in Houston.

Hopkins' rookie contract called for $7,262,702 million total over four years, per spotrac.com. His one-year contract option for the 2017 season was valued at $7.9 million.
