Watson: I'm chasing Tom Brady; I'm going for six rings

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was a guest on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network on Tuesday morning, and Watson was asked what his prediction would be for his NFL career.

"If I am blessed to stay healthy and play for a while I am chasing the GOAT. I'm chasing Tom (Brady)," Watson said. "I'm going for 6 (titles). That's the big thing. I know it is going to be tough. It's going to be hard. I got to have the right situation and have some luck on the way, but that's what I am chasing."

For his senior year at Clemson, Watson's word for the season was "Legendary". So, of course, when you are chasing Brady and asked what your word for first NFL season he responded "Ambitious."

"Going in with the right attitude and the right mindset, and that is to work each and every day regardless of how successful I am and if I have some adversity which I am going to have, just always have that same mentality to be ambitious to try to achieve everything I can," Watson said.
